VFM Leonardo has announced that Aston Hotels, a leading Hawaiian Hotel and Resort Company, will use VFM Leonardo’s VBrochure Online Merchandising System to distribute virtual tours for 25 hotels and resorts throughout Hawaii and its two new mainland properties.
“When viewing virtual tours, a travel shopper’s likelihood of booking increases by 67% as proven by a study of over one million online travel shoppers,” said Paolo Boni, President and CEO, VFM Leonardo. “We believe Aston will achieve impressive returns by merchandising their hotels online with hotel virtual tours in front of in-market travel shoppers across the internet.”
With the agreement, Aston will be able to manage and distribute their virtual tours within a multimedia viewer to thousands of electronic channels and websites in VFM Leonardo’s VNetwork – the largest online visual content distribution network for the global travel industry including all four GDSs as well as Pegasus, online travel agencies Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline and thousands more.
