Like internet use overall, ecommerce is growing slowing in terms of penetration. Nearly 190 million Americans will research and browse for products online, leaving relatively little room for growth. However, average spending levels, and mobile commerce usage will be the bigger growth areas. (2013 eMarketer) In 2012, “57% of US business travelers and 38% of leisure travelers reported using mobile devices to access travel information” (Google and Ipsos Media CT’s).
