Under this agreement, Frommer’s is now a direct channel partner in the VNetwork™ – the largest online network for the global travel industry. VFM Leonardo hotel customers listed on Frommer’s can better merchandise their hotels with visual content in VFM Leonardo’s embedded multimedia viewer. Paired with Frommer’s editorial content, authoritative and innovative travel recommendations, the multimedia viewers provide travelers with a comprehensive, dynamic, multimedia experience that influences travelers’ decisions.
“We’re excited to be offering users richer visual experiences as they research hotels that meet their needs and expectations,” said Craig Schickler, Director of E-Business Development at Wiley. “VFM Leonardo’s multimedia viewer coupled with Frommer’s expert travel advice makes for a powerful trip-planning tool for travelers around the globe.”
“With Frommer’s as part of the VNetwork, we are giving hotels that invest in online merchandising the opportunity to inform, engage, and inspire travelers as they plan their trips,” said Paolo Boni, President and CEO, VFM Leonardo. “Within a month, Frommer’s became one of our top ten partners rivaling popular OTAs in terms of monthly media views. We’re excited that this partnership will allow travelers to benefit from extensive, rich content.”
